Today was much the same as yesterday - cruising on the motorbike and relaxing on the beach.

We had an awesome 2nd day in Thailand - the weather was overcast at times which we were thankful for because when it wasn't it was almost too hot. We went to the beach today and went for a drive on the motorbike - saw some interesting things and some funny people along the way. 

Unfortunate breakdown on a narrow windy road for this fella...

There's no such thing as towing your truck to a mechanic in Thailand... the mechanic comes to you.

No big deal.

There's no such thing as caution or warning signs - they just post the emergency contact number in high accident areas!

Wall building step 1: Fill your 5 gallon pails with sand and gravol

Step 2: Haul them to the plastic tub to be mixed with concrete powder and water using a hoe to mix.

Step 3: Pass the buckets of concrete up to your buddy on the sketchy plank to pour in the wall.

Febuary 19th 2013 - Finally here!

We made it! Back again to our favorite holiday spot - Koh Chang. Flights went well and everything. We arrived on the island at around 5pm and we managed to do all our favorite things in the first evening - on our favorite island, at our favorite bungalow (oasis), went for Thai food, went for a cruise on the motorbike and finished the day off with a nice massage. I guess not all our favorite things because we haven't gone to the beach yet.  Jet leg hasn't hit us too hard yet, execpt that we were wide awake at about 5am.  The weather is nice out - not sure what the temperature is but its perfect.  Anyway, here are a few pictures we took on the way here - haven't taken many yet but hopefully we will

Krabi - Bangkok - Koh Chang

Well I suppose this will be our last blog post before we come home, not even 2 days away. We spent a day on Krabi, drove around a bit and then took a 14 hour bus ride up to Bangkok where we met up with some friends and went to Special Meetings. The next day Leanne was off to Laos and we along with Jeremy and Chase were off to Koh Chang.  It's nice to be back here again, even though its only for a little over a day!  We went diving today, my first time since my open water course... getting over my fear of fish.. they were everywhere! It was really awesome, we all loved it :)  Too bad we couldn't get our hands on an underwater camera. Here are a few pictures from the past week or so.

We bought a lantern to send up in to the sky. The Thai's believe that by sending these lanterns up it bring good luck in life and relationships.

Krabi - koh lanta

We've been having fun down in the south here.. Hard to believe we only have 1 week left :( Since krabi we've travelled over to koh lanta where we found a really nice place to stay so we've been hanging out there for quite a few days. Tanner, Jeremy and chase came over to the island so its been fun having them here as well as Leanne is with us as well. Here are some pictures from the past week or so.
